LEHENA
ILIA - PELOPONNESE GREECE
At a distance of 37km northwest of Pyrgos is the small agricultural and trading town of Lehena. The village is connected with the city by the KTEL buses and the OSE train network.
Lehena is very close to the Patra – Pirgos motorway, and is esaily accessible.
Lehena was the birthplace and home of many heroes from the Greek revolution against the Turkish occupation, as well as the writer and novelist Andreas Karkavitsas.
The town has a well developed tourism infrastructre with hotels, restaurants and tavernas, cafes and bars.
