Located 13km from the city of Pyrgos is the delightful coastal village of Katakolo.
Katakolo is one of the two most important ports of the municipality Hileias. Visitors to Olympia often arrive at this port, as well as the cargo and the transports of goods and trade.
The beach here in Katakolo is very beautiful, with golden sand and the shallow waters.
