ANDRITSENA

At a distance of 64 km from Pyrgos is the village of Andritsena.
It is a traditional mountainous village and is very picturesque. Here you can admire the stone built mansions, the beautiful scenery with the green nature and spring fountains, and the impressive squares of the village.
Important sites of Andritsena include its several churches and also the library which holds many rare books and documents. There is also a museum which exhibits a lovely selection of archaeological relics.
You can visit the village’s churches which date from the 15th century, such as the churches of Agios Athanasios and Agia Barbara.
